Delete your account

Want to delete your Artlinq account? You can do so directly from the app. Below we explain how, and what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

You can delete your account directly from within the Artlinq app:

• Open the Artlinq app on your device
• Go to Settings and tap ‘Edit account’
• Scroll down and tap ‘Delete account’
• Confirm your choice

Your account will then be deleted. You will receive a confirmation by email.

What data is deleted?

Upon deletion of your account, the following data will be permanently erased:

• Profile information (name, email address, password)
• Personal playlists and playback history
• Uploaded content
• Linked login methods (Google, Apple, email)
• Subscription and account settings

What data is retained?

A limited portion of your data may be retained for longer periods based on legal obligations:

• Financial records — 7-year retention
  Invoices, payment records, and subscription history are retained for 7 years. This is required under Dutch tax law (Article 52 AWR).
• Anonymous usage statistics
  Aggregated and fully anonymised usage data (such as platform-wide statistics) is not deleted. This data cannot be traced back to you as an individual and falls outside the right to erasure under Article 17 GDPR.
